Eslite Bookstore Design

The site location was located at ground floor of Tropicana City Mall GS-12 & GS-13. This building is located in Damansara Utama, a suburb in the northern part of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and located near Damansara Link of Sprint Expressway.

The design idea is to create spaces surrounded by books, experiencing the fantasy world of books. The design aim to maximize the interaction happens in the store. Hence,  different type of seating layout are provided for customer to sit down & communicate.

The concept proposed  is “INTERACTION” between HUMAN and BOOKS. The form is emphasize on intersections and connection to represent the crossing of stories in books and lifestyle in reality. Diagonal lines are used to form the concept model by  referring to the element of Eslite’s logo.
